Review on πŸ”Œ Tinned Tubular Terminal Connectors by AIRIC by John Hall

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Excellent customer service

Most importantly, you don't need a heavy crimping tool like a hydraulic block or double joint type like bolt cutters or even large pliers. These terminals aren't that thick, but rubbish, flimsy, cheap, nameless multifunctional crimping tools don't work, nobody should use them for anything, EVER. You only need a quality tool to crimp bare 10G connectors, such as: B. Klein 1019. 10G is a limitation for most tools, so 8G increases compressive strength requirements. HOWEVER, these terminals are not thick enough to justify the use of a tool designed for fastening heavy duty terminals for car batteries, solar panels, etc. As discussed above, the body of these terminals is long and requires TWO crimps of tools such as those above. I have a feeling most have enough arm strength to properly crimp these terminals on a workbench; In tight spaces where only one hand can fit, a crimping tool with a longer handle/lever length and possibly a ratchet may be considered. The first order was lost from the packaging, but a split, empty bubble envelope still arrived. Not sure how I originally tried to contact the seller as I was so nervous but an email was returned saying the address was not receiving emails. So I wrote a bad review about how I received the blank bubble envelope. I may have been in a hurry, but I was upset again and had no reason. The seller replied to my review and talked for a long time, within an hour the seller agreed to send a free replacement order. The seller was very accommodating and only asked for photos. The replacement order came 2 days later, allowing me to continue working on the project.
