Perfect for cutting Christmas roast ribs. The blade is definitely quite long, and that's an issue I've had with regular kitchen knives and/or knife holders. Like the solid plastic handle, it reminds me of the knives I used to use in restaurants. They're not fancy or particularly expensive, but they have a decent edge and are very durable.
