Bought a brake/shift comb to replace my Schwinn Axum brake and shifter

I bought a brake/shift combo to replace my Schwinn Axum brake and shifter that are separate. Now I only have one thing on the right side of the steering wheel. This one works with the OEM AX switch, not this one; https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B08W418W15/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o03_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1, it can only go to 2nd gear.
