Review on πŸ•Ή Casio AE-2000W-1AVCF Men's Silver-Tone and Black Digital Sport Watch: Versatile and Stylish by Jessica Washington

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Great looking watch at a very reasonable price

I was very pleasantly surprised when I first saw this one clock is live It looks a lot better than the photos suggest. This is one of the most beautiful and affordable Casio digital watches I have ever seen. Pros - The style is reminiscent of an airplane dashboard - The blue color of the top display looks spectacular, especially in bright light the labels are on small raised fields) - Stainless steel upper case (not the usual silver colored resin) - Time digits are large and easy to read - LCD background is very bright (more readable in low light than most other Casio digital watches) - mineral crystal (typically acrylic on budget casios) - 200m water resistance (typically 100m on budget casios) - rubber strap is quite comfortable ( much more practical than the G-Shock GW2310) - Four time zone function (like AE1200 with similar characteristics) - One-time alarm function (AE1200 also has it, but most Casio only have daily alarms) - 10-year battery Cons: Alarm volume is very low (AE1200 alarm is significantly louder; WS210 has a much louder alarm) Hand function (WS210 and GW2310 have them) - The analog clock i s small, low-contrast and therefore difficult to read (the AE1200 analog clock is larger and brighter) - The analog clock may obscure some of the main time digits when the clock is lit from above - Illuminates with a single amber The LED in the bottom left corner of the display gives off weak, uneven lighting (AE1200 is better with an LED in each of the bottom corners, but both would be much better with blue EL lighting) Overall - A great watch at a very reasonable price. It's bigger and thicker than the AE1200 but better looking.

Pros
  • Water resistant to 200m (660ft): generally suitable for professional marine activities and serious surface water sports but not for scuba diving
Cons
  • Low repairability
