This camera was bought by my wife after her old camera got dusty after shooting in a haunted house. works perfectly, the auto function is great for quick shots that are nice and sharp with the right light balance. It also has the ability to manually tweak certain shots for purists. My wife takes a lot of photos and the included 2GB SD card allows me to shoot all day. At one point, she filled the map with almost 800 high-resolution photos. Much more could have been done with two lower settings, but she enjoys playing with her photos in Picassa and Photoshop. The high resolution allows her to do almost anything she wants. In addition, the rear screen is surprisingly bright even in low light, and the use of the viewfinder is almost never required. In low light it will take a very good shot with ambient light. True, the flash is needed in the dark and to fill in the shadows on the street (for example, under the trees). I recommend this camera to anyone who wants to take great pictures. It offers excellent value for money due to its many built-in features. If my existing camera fails, I look for that camera or the current version.
