I found this very easy to cut. I traced my shapes onto a paper base and easily cut them out with regular sharp scissors. The only problem I had was ironing. I ironed my shapes onto the white t-shirts that I had previously washed and there was definitely some ink transfer (black ink, to be precise) onto the fabric of the t-shirt around the design. It looked like the shadow of a buffalo rug. I thought they were ruined, so as a last ditch effort, I turned the shirts inside out, placed the Shout Color Catcher on the design inside each shirt, and washed them in cold water. Color catchers have done their job!
