My partner is pregnant and had trouble sleeping on a fairly hard bed with memory/cooling foam. Firmer beds don't seem to work as well for side sleepers/pregnant women. I put it on and now the body sinks much deeper and distributes the weight better when I sleep on my side. This provides extremely soft cushioning compared to the original setup. Sure, I sleep on my back and stomach, so I'm struggling now, but hey, I don't have to deal with my partner's moans. now i'm laughing :)
