At first I had doubts

I bought two of these expensive queen size pillows. The quilted cover is made of 60% polyester, 40% bamboo and ivory. The label on the cover says 20"x30", but it's actually 20"x29" flat and with a zipper. The color of the crushed foam is mostly light blue but there are also brownish bits which look disgusting like they are stained or dirty but that may just be their normal color (I assume), see the attached picture. Both the cover and the insert have an unpleasant odor due to the memory foam, so I had to air them out by removing the cover and leaving the insert open for a week before using it (I had to change the memory foam mattress covers Always air out foam because of the smell.) Each pillow was folded in half in the box and about half filled with memory foam, so I added an extra pack of foam. It was difficult to fit each pillow into my pillowcases, but they fit, and seeing how large and firm they were, I knew I should have left some extra padding. They "didn't give" and caused neck pain (I sleep on my side). So I took the memory foam off for a few days until my neck wasn't sore anymore. Accordingly, I really liked the pillows. I've tried other pillows, either too flat or too high, so being able to adjust them is the way to go. Memory foam should be factory pre-aerated and free of questionable brown particles.
