I've always bought cheaper curling irons. This time I decided to look at the reviews on the Internet before buying. BaBylissPro was rated as a great curling iron. When I first used it, it didn't curl very well. The third time I used it, it burned my hair. I was shocked. I thought I did something wrong. A few months later I decided to try medium temperature curling and believe it or not it wasn't my fault it was burning my hair again. I am so disappointed in this product that I will never buy it again. I'm throwing it in the trash where it belongs along with the money I spent on it. I will return to my Conair! When a product is successful, the retailer seems to force other manufacturers to produce it at a lower price, making the product inferior. That's why some people love it and some people hate it. It might not be, but when you have a curling iron that has burned your hair, you have something extraordinary compared to people who love theirs. The product has to be either good or bad, there shouldn't be such strong differences in reviews! I would not recommend this product to anyone.
