Doesn't stick. This only really works if your hair is already straight. I bought this as I'm growing out a pixie cut and needed something to keep my scalp safe and as close as possible. The teeth don't get hot so they're pointless, only the barrel gets hot, but with the guards/teeth surrounding it, the actual barrel doesn't really make contact with your hair, let alone straighten it. It would be great if the comb teeth heated up, but even on the highest setting, it doesn't. I'm a 4C Straight and this hasn't worked for me to get my roots or my hairline, it only really works if your hair is already straight and needs a little touch up (with a few passes).
