It's easy to put together. All of the nuts, bolts, screws come pre-attached. You just unattach them, put the piece that goes there on & reattach them & you're done! The only thing I'd ding it on is the middle bars height -- I'm 5'5" & had a hard time stepping through to get on because of the height of the cross bar(s) in the middle BUT with care & going slowly I managed it despite having stumpy, short legs. The ride is good, pedals glide easily, the larger seat is comfortable & there are a lot of functions on this inexpensive exer-cycle (time, speed, miles, calories, pulse, multiple tension settings), and, if it holds up over time, I'll be very happy with my purchase. I'd recommend it.
