Review on 🔐 Enhanced Lid Support: SafeStay Lid Stay 105° Open with Soft Close, Simple Installation for Toy Boxes and Chests by Adan Hudson

I turned a cedar box into a toy box and didn't want it to pinch my little fingers. Some of the reviews bothered me, but I found it worked pretty well. Installation was a little more annoying than I expected as the instructions weren't very good, but I managed as a less experienced person. He caught the lid well after the first six inches of the fall and lowered it gently enough for the kids to move their arms in time. It sort of fell through towards the end, but that wouldn't be enough to hurt the finger even if it wasn't moved in time. However, be aware that it will not stand the test of time with rebellious children. It lasted about 5 months before my 1.5 and 4 years somehow completely destroyed it. I'm sure they were very rough but I was hoping it would last longer!
