Let me please first begin by saying that these boots are true to size, i wear an 8, so i ordered an 8 and what i got was a size 8 shoe that fits like a dream. I like the zipper down the sides to widen the boot to allow for more room to wear a thicker winter sock or if you just need more calf room. The fact that they tie with laces is also great to get the right fit no matter what size your legs or feet are. If I had to find one negative thing about these boots (and there IS ONLY the one bad thing i can think of? ) is the overwhelming chemical smell .it was seeping out even before i opened the shipping package it was bad .it gave have me a headache just from trying them on. I put them into my garage to air out a bit. Iv gotten shoes from China before that smelled the same way and putting them out in the open on my porch over night to air out always does the trick!
