Quick Review for those who prefer not to read novels: RECOMMEND? ABSOLUTE ADVANTAGES: 1. These pads are advertised as being quiet. No more horrible screeching at low speed.2. Came with new hardware (retaining clip, retaining pins, cotter pins).3. Easy to install, direct replacement for the original equipment (at least on my machine).4. They say it's not necessary to do the complementary feeding procedure (I did it anyway). CONS: 1. They are a bit expensive.2. Not as aggressive as the original pads. REST OF THE STORY: I bought front and rear brake pads for my 2014 Infiniti Q50S so this review will apply to both. My car was bought used about 4 months ago and the brakes started squeaking like a banshee as soon as I bought it. It was a low-speed squeak that occurs when you pull out of a garage or stop in a parking lot. A truly awkward look that shouldn't come from a luxury sports sedan. I complained to the dealer (Infiniti dealer btw) and they stated that the brake pads had been replaced before purchase and were brand new. So you didn't stack them properly and now I have to fix this problem. Let's jump forward. I ordered these pads because they had good reviews (obviously elsewhere) and they promised to be very quiet. They arrived here in typical Revain fast fashion (as always, Revain delivery props). There was nothing special about the boxes they were in. Everything that was supposed to be there was there, the pads were shrink wrapped, all the gear was sealed in a bag. Now the moment of truth. I started with the front pads, why not. The beauty of the Sport model brakes (I don't know about stock brakes) is that you don't have to remove or rotate the caliper to change pads. Pull out the cotter pins, pull out the locking pins, remove the old pads, done. The same with the back, only the pads are slightly smaller. I was very happy that these pads came with the hardware (retaining clip, pins, cotter pins) as my original pins were very dirty and corroded and difficult to remove (yes the dealer didn't bother to replace them, when he put the new pads in earlier, thanks again). The procedure for both axes went perfectly and everything worked as expected. After putting everything back together, I went about my own version of the burn-in process (there were no instructions, but another benefit of these bars is that they're presensed and supposedly don't need a liner). While they don't offer the same aggressive bite as OE semi-metallic pads, they're more than adequate for everyday rider use, and almost as importantly (to me, at least) that they're very quiet. Reviews: 1.) All four pairs of pads I received and installed fit perfectly. Yes, they were a bit tight and needed refitting, but I didn't expect them to just slide loose. The only thing that differed from the OE setup were the locking pins that came with the rear pads. They were longer than stock so they protrude slightly from the caliper, but that doesn't affect fit or functionality in any way. Maybe you got the wrong parts? Did you discuss this with Revain or the manufacturer before posting a negative review? 2.) Yes, only one pad on the front set and one pad on the rear set has a wear indicator or "sensor". Yes, it's different from the original pads, but when I think about it, all four pads on an axle should wear pretty much evenly. So does it really matter if every caliper has a pad with an indicator? The answer is no, as long as there is at least one indicator on each axle of what those pads are doing. This negative assessment was therefore unfounded.
