These things are the greatest invention since sliced bread! I have pretty thick hair and no other hair tie has ever done it! They do NOT break, they just stretch, and if they do, just leave them for a few days or wash them (I just put them in my jean pocket or pull my bra through) and they'll be back to normal. They hold the hair in place, do not pull or stretch. They are made from the same material as hosiery/tights but are thicker and therefore breathable. I used to buy the Scuunci brand until they stopped making them and a 10 pack would last for years if I hadn't lost it before then. LOVE THESE!
