We live in the south. You need all the help if you live in the south during the summer. Humidity and heat are terrible. If you can't handle the heat, you need it. The trick I found for them is to make just over 32 ounces of water. I make 4 ounces with warm water to dissolve the powder and then I drink 30 ounces of cold water and ice cubes and shake again. They taste much better cold, but the powder dissolves more easily if mixed with warm water first. Orange has a pleasant taste. It's a little sweeter than I'd like, but sweet is better than salty, and the sweetness gets better when you add those extra few ounces of water. Thankfully, it doesn't look like fake sugar. And it doesn't taste like salt, which I half expected, unlike other fluid replacements and electrolyte blends. They come in an easy to store packaging. Take what you need and put it back in the closet. They're even good for high school sports because you can hydrate an entire team for just $1 each. Still cheaper than the big brands.
