Perfect for Otterbox phone cases
I have tried several handlebar phone mounts including a different lip mount. I dropped my phone out a few times because of them and had to turn to find my phone on the side of the road. This thick case version is the first handlebar phone mount that securely fits my Samsung phone with an Otterbox case. There were no problems with this. The only thing I liked about the other mount is its pivotability. I gave up that feature with this mount, but no longer worry about losing my phone when I hit a bump in the road.
