There wasn't enough light, I had to.
The light wasn't bright enough, I had to send it back. This was the second lighted mirror I bought trying to find one bright enough. I ended up opening up a Conair lighted chrome mirror about 20 years old and both bulbs blew out. I googled the lamp type and ordered it from Conair. It ended up costing almost $20, but I think it's worth it if I can get the properly lighted makeup mirror I want.
