Full Disclosure: I received this product free of charge in order to provide an unbiased review. I have a full solar array at home hooked up to a 12K inverter so it was a bit nice to be able to see. I took the device to my EE lab and started some testing. First impressions: The packaging was excellent, lots of rigid foam and everything in sealed bags. The unit itself has a very impressive fit and finish, and the included wired remote for power on/off and battery monitoring is a nice touch and very useful in an RV or truck setup. Testing: 1) The first thing I wanted to know is if this is a true sine wave inverter. As you can see in the attached photo using an oscilloscope. I have verified that this is indeed a very clean true sine wave inverter. 2) Second, idle power consumption. By the way, many inverters consume a lot of electricity even when nothing is connected to them. As you can see in the other photo the current draw is 1.17A at 13.2V or 15.4W. That's not a huge draw, it's not the best, but not bad for an inverter of this size. 3) Load: I only had enough 12v batteries to power 40 amps, so I had to limit my testing to around 400w while I could get more 12v lithium batteries. I tested a 400w sine wave and it was still perfect. Cons: I only want to change one thing and that is the length of the battery cables. I know this is the standard length you get with most inverters, but take something extra and give customers cables that can actually be used in a typical installation, not just for testing. Conclusion: You can't go wrong with this inverter, it is well made and produces clean electricity at a very reasonable price.
