I was quite leery about purchasing this dress as it didn't give cleaning directions other than "hand wash with like colors”, which usually means the color bleeds. I was certain if I washed this, the lace would turn blue and it might become misshapen. I couldn't have been more wrong! I washed this dress in my washer with other blue items. It came out of the wash in the same shape & color as it went in! The lace was bright white without any change of color. I hung this to dry & it kept its shape! I've now machine washed this dress 5 times and it's every bit the same as it was when I first received it’ This dress fit exactly as the sizing chart advised. I'm 5’2” and it comes down a bit below the knee. It's loose & swingy from the hips down, which makes it flatter any figure. I would recommend this dress to everyone. It's darling on and is well-made. The fit was exactly the same as the chart advised. I only wish they offered this dress in more colors! I would buy them all.
