Not fit for purpose
Tried to remove one but it wouldn't come off. I pulled harder and the black piece got so sticky and bulky that when it bounced off the wall it nailed me to my finger leaving me bruised and sore the next day. Ridiculous. They are also so long that they didn't work for the purposes intended for my RV to raise the curtain hanger. Stick with regular curtain rod holders if you're buying them for that.
