It's practical, but don't expect it to hold all your groceries. It is best to combine this with a basket. You can attach the basket to the side of the C-pillar (or both sides!) and continue to use it. I installed a collapsible Sunlite basket and Wald also sells it. The bag brought home cold groceries safely and I look forward to using it to bring hot food to-go home in cold weather (the container size allows for it). I hate paying for shipping or driving short distances and this solves my problem! As a bonus, the removable liner can also be handy on its own. I just grabbed a large bowl of cold BBQ and this feed kept it perfectly cool until ready to serve.
