The transponder chip is patchy, thin and not working.
They're cheap and flimsy. The locksmith I went to couldn't program either of the two keys I bought so I had to buy one from the locksmith. I watched the whole process, so it wasn't a question of the integrity of the mechanics. For me this key was a waste of money. If you choose to go this route, have someone program the key before you cut it. That way you can at least send them back if it doesn't work.
