Very happy with these sheets. I ordered small ones. They are about 2-3 centimeters long. I saw some negative reviews so was a bit wary but they arrived in great condition and with more sheets for the price I thought. Take a handful and boil them in a little water until they turn dark brown. Allow the water to cool and then add the leaves to the aquarium. Also add all or part of the tea colored water, depending on whether you want the water to appear black or natural. My kuhli char LOVE leaves, and because they have lots of hiding places in the leaves, char spend more time being cute than hiding. Over time, the leaves turn dark brown and begin to rot. You need to add more regularly. I've read that the leaves help acidify the water, but haven't found that to be the case. I think if you had a lot of leaves you would theoretically lower the pH. My water is very alkaline and hard and I find the easiest fix is to just add a little Seachem Acid Buffer with every water change.
