The buttons on the original Apple TV remote stopped working, requiring a replacement. This remote was cheap and seemed to fit the bill. It worked right out of the box. All I had to do was pull the paper tab out of the battery and then point and click. Distance learning was not required. But I don't know if everyone wants that. Before purchasing this replacement remote, I was using the Apple TV Remote app on my iPhone. However, sometimes the app didn't recognize my Apple TV, which was annoying and frustrating. I needed a physical remote with working buttons and I'm very glad I found this cheap option. I've included a video demonstrating the use of this remote click so you can get an idea of how loud the buttons click and as proof that it works without any issues. I would highly recommend this to any Apple TV user looking for a cheap remote replacement that just works.
