What can I say, the Sony SRS-WS1 headphones are simply awesome! As soon as I opened the box, I was struck by how well put together they were. As soon as I took them out of the box I saw that they were well balanced and easy to carry on my shoulders, felt very comfortable and felt like I could wear them for hours. I particularly like the soft lining on the inside, so the skin-to-skin contact comes from a soft fabric material rather than hard plastic. Attention to detail is very important when you pay more for a product and expect good performance. Using traditional or in-ear headphones becomes uncomfortable after a while. I watched the whole movie comfortably and my ears didn't get tired of wearing the headphones as I had them on my shoulders the whole time. The battery lasted the whole 2 hours of film. I ran for a good three hours before I had to put it back on the charger, but the battery still had power. I've tried adjusting the vibration on the button inside the headphones, it works fine, but I usually keep the setting low because I don't like the feeling of the vibration. I even forgot I had them, and sound scattering from waveguides actually affects sound quality very much. I would have liked more bass, but they are still sufficient for most applications. A popular part of outdoor design is being able to hear my surroundings, which is especially important because I have young children at home and I can still hear what's going on around me. For security reasons, this is great. I recommend the Sony SRS-WS1 headphones.
