Overall a great fan! I would buy this fan again and would recommend it to anyone if it suits the style of your room. We wanted a Hugger ceiling fan and it was a perfect fit. We have two of these in our living room and are upgrading some 90's style fans. The disadvantages are that the installation is a little tight when the motor assembly is mounted on the bracket, the wiring must be correct. Also, with the hose that goes over the motor, be careful not to squeeze it too hard as it will be almost impossible to get it off and off if it goes too high over the pins. There may be a better location for the antenna. A remote device in the motor assembly, like one of our fans, doesn't always work well. I think it's because the signal is bad. The light is not bright so if you are looking for a fan that also lights up the room I would look at other options. The reason I give this 5 stars is because I really like the look and it changed the whole look of our room. In addition, it has a strong solid feel. It has been well built and will certainly continue. As a builder, I have installed many fans and this fan is not high end but not cheap either. I would say it's mid to high end overall quality.
