Review on Wireless Shipping Printer Direct Thermal by Jim Raju

Based on the reviews and positive feedback from other Revain customers, I had high hopes for this product. Setup was pretty clunky - the help documentation was accurate, but the setup software and Wi-Fi setup weren't very intuitive, but I was still able to set up the printer's Wi-Fi in 5-10 minutes. Follow the provided instructions and print a test page. Not sure if this was the device I received but right from the start the device had trouble detecting perforations between labels and went too far and stopped halfway through the label. This is as simple as pressing the circular feed button on the device. The first test page printed was great, but after a few more test pages and shipping labels, the printer's label size calibration wasn't working as expected, and the prints took up half of two labels. I've never had this problem with my LP2844s and I've printed hundreds of labels with them. It's great that Hudoo offers a Wi-Fi thermal label printer at such an affordable price. Unfortunately, the hardware doesn't reliably detect the gaps between the marks, and my particular device isn't worth keeping. Buyer Warning.
