It was pretty easy to put together and the instructions were easy to follow. It's fairly researched and looks decent. A 43-inch TV is all that will fit, unless you can find a TV with a stand in the middle instead of legs at each end. Our 43 inch Samsung TV barely fits in because of the legs. And it hangs a little over each end. There is no way a 50 or 55 inch TV will look good on this stand as it will hang heavily on each side. The only thing that looks awful about this stand is the doors. Just leave them, honestly, because they're so ugly. Shiny, shiny black cheap plastic. As if that wasn't enough, one of us broke. No wonder considering how cheap and fragile the doors are. The stand is very tall, which is what we needed. Only when buying this stand, pay attention to the cheapest plastic doors known to man. They really ruin what would otherwise be a decent looking TV stand. I think you can always leave the doors open but why they decided to skimp on doors I don't understand.
