495 foot range as advertised is a joke. I bought it because of the advertised range and phone connectivity. Yes, it measures the temperature. Yes, setup is easy. Some settings on the settings page were not saved until you closed and restarted the app. In general, if like me you are worried about the Bluetooth connection. DO NOT PURCHASE THE PRODUCT.
