I bought this compact jewelry box to replace four large jewelry boxes that I have had for years. However, the container is well made and looks solid; additional flat baffles would be useful. The bottom of the container is soft and flexible which can damage the decoration so I inserted one of the panels as a base but then I didn't have enough panel to use it on the top which is also soft and flexible and could damage the decoration, if any. placed on the container during storage. To solve this problem I used one of the panels as a template and cut out a piece of sturdy cardboard to use on the bottom of the bin to make it more durable. This left me with a slab to use as a top cover. SPOILER ALERT: Elongated and tapered decorations will not fit in the decoration storage divider squares, but the squares are adjustable so you can simply fold the divider sideways to occupy two spaces.
