Terrible Build Experience

I can only assume this product gets good reviews because people give it to kids and never build with them. Because this "riddle" is garbage. First, it's not a puzzle - it's a model, and only part of it is a puzzle. At least half of the work is putting the pieces of the non-puzzle model together. All of these parts need to be in the correct orientation and it takes some effort to align everything correctly. It is not easy. The puzzle itself consists of 200 plastic pieces. It takes a lot of effort to connect them. It's not like putting a jigsaw puzzle together where you find the right piece and just snap it into place. Even with the use of force, the puzzle walls are anything but flat. They are wavy. The pieces are numbered on the back to show you exactly how to assemble them. Who has ever heard of a riddle with the solution on the back?! I suppose this is meant to help people who don't understand 3D concepts. The gates of the castle have not survived. We threw them away after trying to attach them in any way. They just fall apart when you let go. We've already told our little one we'll never collect that thing for her! It was a nightmare. And when it's finished, it's not a playset or anything, it's just a model. The non-puzzle pieces look beautiful when put together. As mentioned, the puzzle piece is wavy and looks like you didn't put it together correctly because the pieces don't fit together. I would never buy a Ravensburger 3D puzzle again after this nonsense. Stay away.
