This is a great design/idea but poorly made. Many of the parts that should fit together don't actually fit perfectly, making the task difficult.

I liked this idea and bought it for my granddaughter. I haven't had any feedback from my daughter on how easy it is to set up. Still, I think it's a good gift idea.

I bought this for my 6 year old daughter as a Christmas present. It was a fun project for her winter vacation. It took her two days to put it together, although some of the parts were a bit tricky and I had to help her assemble the pillar and dome, for example. The finished lock looks great. I can only assume this product gets good reviews because people give it to kids and never build with them. Because this "riddle" is garbage. First, it's not a puzzle - it's a model, and only part of it is a puzzle. At least half of the work is putting the pieces of the non-puzzle model together.
