This tape is the exact same material that car license plates are made of. Adheres very well to suitably prepared surfaces. I am currently using it on the tips of drone rotors to see the edge of the rotor disk for flight resolution purposes. After fifty flights in hot weather in bright sunshine and at night in freezing temperatures, none of my rotors came loose. To attach it to the rotor tips, I cut a piece slightly wider than the tip, then attach it and use a scalpel blade to trim off the excess, following the contour of the rotor blade tip. Yellow is exactly the shade shown in my photo and listing. I've done a few tests with it and it's difficult to remove as the adhesive is strong and when removing the tape tends to tear and fall apart. Most likely, it needs to be washed. It definitely stays where it is, so don't remove the backing until you know exactly where you're going to attach it. It cannot be switched. For my application it works great. I plan to buy more in wider widths and other colors.
