Adheres well to clean, grease-free surfaces

Excellent reflectivity, flexible enough to conform to moderate curves. It takes a good eye and a steady hand to peel the clear plastic backing from the adhesive side of the tape. This helps flex the end of the band to give you a head start on your next call. It has a somewhat annoying "static stick" that will bring it back if you let go after peeling off part of the back. The extra large elastic strap prevents it from getting tangled when storing if you don't have the right box.

Pros
  • Protective tape
Cons
  • Available in black only

"Break off " a small piece.

Tape not strong enough: - A small "splinter" in the orange tape just trying to peel off a small piece of paperwork to release the real orange tape - The glue on the orange tape is it not sticky enough. And while it's reflective, check out the photo next to a dollar roll of orange duct tape. Okay, it reflects the light a little better, but it doesn't cost 20x the price (duct tape is more than twice the width and more than 10x cheaper per roll). And along with the other problems mentioned above…

This is a very good yellow and sticky reflective tape.

This tape is the exact same material that car license plates are made of. Adheres very well to suitably prepared surfaces. I am currently using it on the tips of drone rotors to see the edge of the rotor disk for flight resolution purposes. After fifty flights in hot weather in bright sunshine and at night in freezing temperatures, none of my rotors came loose. To attach it to the rotor tips, I cut a piece slightly wider than the tip, then attach it and use a scalpel blade to trim off the…
