Today she arrived. I wanted to try it so badly that I've already refilled it 3 times. The main purpose of this purchase was to get into all the nooks and crannies of my windows/window frames for a deep clean. He does it wonderfully! And as an added bonus, it works fantastic at getting rid of grout lines on my tile floors. I'm so excited about this as I've been looking for the best way to clean grout on the floor for ages. I've tried the brushes you attach to a drill, all kinds of cleaning mixes, and various other cleaning supplies (wire wool is good but messy). Who knew steam and some elbow grease (have used both a brush head and a toothbrush - both work well) would be the answer?! No toxic chemicals and minimal effort. I steamed and brushed each line twice, then wiped off the dirt! Check out before and after photos with this review. I can already see that this machine is being put to good use in my home. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars at this point is that the initial burst of steam (first 30 seconds or so) after each fill is pretty wet - equal parts steam and hot water. This can be very useful, but it was unexpected, so it can be quite dangerous. I was very careful not to overstuff according to instructions. But I'll try less water next time I fill up to see if that makes a difference. After the initial dampness, it's all steam! Also, when refilling immediately after use, be careful not to touch the metal screw of the safety cap. It's getting really hot (shouldn't be a surprise, I know). And be sure to tighten the protective cap sufficiently each time. It's not easy to know when it's tight enough. So far I am delighted with this steamer. And just tried a few of the many nozzles!
