The ability to hire remotely has been key for us in our growth over last few years. I have had two great hires this way - one who was initially hired at adevva but moved into working from home soon after (we were able to keep her). Our other recent hiring involved bringing someone through a more traditional interview process which we found very helpful when trying to work out how they would fit within our organization. It's also nice being part of such a supportive community where everyone wants the same thing - good employees! There are no real downsides so far - only benefits if you're looking to grow your business or need flexibility around hours/payroll etc then it allows you achieve both without having to relocate yourself.
