I didn't know what to expect from the Pelican phone case but I had high hopes. This phone case works on all fronts. It is very durable and I have full confidence that my phone is well protected. I like that it doesn't have a screen protector built in because I wanted a tempered safety glass. The glass was slightly larger than the hole in the phone case, but there was enough flexibility in the phone case to fit the face snugly. Granted it's a little chunky, but not as chunky as other brands. What I really like is that there are no complaints from people I speak to about voice quality issues. The cut out hole for the rear camera is deep enough to know that the lenses are not in contact with the surface when you lay the phone on a flat surface. Would I recommend it - yes. Would I buy it again - yes. I would buy it as a gift - yes.
