Firstly, the jug is small and is constantly being refilled, so I can understand the negative reviews about it. A very small problem for me. Small but nice! The jug and everything else looks very good. Setup was quick and easy. Now for the taste. I have well water and it has never tasted bad so I didn't notice any difference in the filtered water except for one. The filtered water flowed down like silk. Very clean. So nice change. There are two more things I would like to add. As advertised, this jug is very versatile as it can be used not only for filtering water but for other purposes as well. I also love the idea of a sachet that can be thrown away once used, as opposed to the hard plastic filters that come with most jug filters. Seems less waste.
