That's right, I'm trying cubed toothpaste for the first time. The advantages are that in addition to the green color on the packaging, the taste is mild. Not like candy-flavored tube noodles, but more like Toms of Maine, where there is very little artificiality. Just like the essence of peppermint leaves. My only big problem is that I just took a big cube of clay and tried to chew that bad boy like gum and tried to spread it all over my teeth with my tongue. Not a very pleasant experience. As if I had tripped over my face playing tennis on a clay court for the first time and used my mouth to find mint plants by the side of the road. I think once you get used to it. Pre-mixing the cube in a cup of Dixie helps, but still has some clay dryness when brushing your teeth. My other issue is that these cubes didn't hold together very well during shipping I think. There was quite a lot of powder at the bottom of the jar, and the lower cubes were rounded and more broken. I think because it's an expensive product, I dip my wet brush in it when I run out of dice. I'm not sure I would buy this again.
