I bought these to use as floating shoe racks in the garage. This is exactly what I was looking for, although it might be a bit pricey for a few plastic pieces. But I appreciate the size, perfect for shorter boots, and the durability of the acrylic. They definitely don't feel like they're going to break and can take a few beatings. I installed them with wall anchors because I don't trust command strips or other double sided tape to get the job done. I also have the luxury of drilling holes in my walls. When you turn the shelves upside down, the short end acts as a shield to protect the wall from bumps with the soles of your shoes.
