I have been a big fan of Footjoy shoes for many years and I still recommend them. However, it seems that they have adopted a narrower toe design. It's very stylish when you're playing dolly, but when you're going 7,000 yards it's literally a real pain. After trying on a few things locally and reading a lot of reviews, I decided to try my first adidas golf shoe. They are very comfortable both in terms of foot proportions and cushioning. They have proven to withstand heavy dew on morning walks, but I don't think they will withstand real rain due to the mesh areas. Some might like a more aggressive profile, but I think that's more than enough for most trail conditions. The tread lies comfortably on the concrete surrounding the racquet and is incredibly easy to clean. I gave them one star only because of the cheap design of the lacing system (the laces are too thick, the holes in the upper are not reinforced, the tongue is too thick). Overall a great shoe for the price!
