The self adhesive is the strongest part of this poly mailer. The rest was disappointing including the incredible static on the self adhesive strip that is removed to seal. The bags maybe(?) Ok for a shirt or something very soft but even that is a risk as they snag easily and develop tears / holes easily during general handling. They feel much like a standard garbage bag thickness and less durable even than the clear poly bags I use for items inside of boxes. I ended up double bagging with these to use them up and have ordered something else to use going forward. I wanted to like these poly mailers but their downfall seems to be any contact with corners (inside or outside the package) and also general handling which makes me question how suitable they are for going through the mailing system at all. I must not understand the specific use intention.
