Should have been X width, could have been in the toe box. However, to get into the toe area, my foot had to go through the arch area. This area was very narrow. I think when the size of the shoe pattern was expanded, no attention was paid to the size and fit in the instep and arch of the foot. I don't understand how someone with wide feet can fit in these shoes.
