Both games cover the basics of addition and subtraction. Specifically, the game explores how to add or subtract 0-9 to a number. It was very difficult for my 6 year old child. The only thing that bothers me is that the plot could have been more interesting. She wasn't even interested in the very first reading. We played four times and that was the end of the board game. A few simple modifications and it could be a huge hit. First the game had to be designed with easy or hard versions. We have developed our own variants of simple multiplication and division. Second, Cloud Hoppers' story can be slightly improved. I like the fact that the plot isn't about sports. But if you aim for sci-fi or fantasy, the game should be more intriguing. While games were helpful for early math, they lacked enough fun to keep a child engaged.
