The card installs fine in my version of Windows 10 Pro (the drivers are already included in Win10). I transferred a 50GB file (computer backup image) from an external SSD to an external rotating hard drive. Both were USB3.0. I keep getting "Error: 0x800701B1: Nonexistent device specified". The explorer window for the external SSD was closed and then reopened. I noticed that other people reported the same problem with this chipset. I've tried different combinations to move a large file to and from different USB3.0 hard drives (SSD and spinning) and even to and from an internal SSD to and from external USB3.0 hard drives. A recurring problem I see is that the card cannot handle moving a large file to and from disks of different speeds (e.g. from SSDs to spinning disks). I ended up returning this card as I need to reliably move files (small or large) to and from each drive. I bought a Renesas (NEC) UPD720201 chipset card with a Genesys Logic GL3510 hub chipset. There are no problems transferring files with it. I tested the same scenarios with the same files and devices.
