Hanes' outdoor socks are beautifully crafted from thick and dense fabric. The socks have a simple and timeless design. I wear size 10.5 sneakers and prefer to wear socks over my calves. However, these Hanes socks are easy to pull over the knees! They are very long and elastic. I need to move them down and group them a bit on the calves. Luckily they stay in place all day. They work well under winter boots or sneakers. They are very warm but breathe well and have nice cushioning. I washed them in cold water in a front loading washing machine and tumble dried on low heat. They came out great. In general. great socks.
