If you want to work with multiple windows you need this

I got my first home computer about 6 weeks ago and it did exactly what I wanted. Let me open 3 DIFFERENT windows on my laptop and 2 auxiliary monitors. Installs and is up and running in about a minute (including time to change Windows display settings). I've ordered a second one for work to have ready for the office opening. Make sure you read the fine print in the descriptions of these adapters. Many simply duplicate your main display. This allows you to run different windows on different monitors at the same time.
