Review on Citronella Incense Sticks - 120 Count by Kristy Campos

great citronella incense

This is a great citronella incense, especially for the price and there's a lot here. The sticks are slightly irregular in shape, but frequent incense users will find that this is common to all handmade imported incense sticks. Some reviews complained that they go out in the wind. Well - you burn incense sticks. they burn. with fire. the wind blows out small flames. Keep incense sticks out of direct wind if you want it to keep burning. Common sense, right? I just stuck it in the ground in a spot where something might be blocking the wind from a side or two. They mostly burn well, but some of the thinner ones will burn out. It's okay - they're cheap - light up or light up another. The smell is strong - a familiar lemon and citronella scent but more pleasant than some other citronella substances I've tried. They seemed to scare away many of the insects in our camp, but didn't kill them all of their own accord. Works great with another type of repellent (we put some spray everywhere and then some incense next to our tents and tables).

Pros
  • Excellent construction
Cons
  • Not as thick as other incense sticks
