Review on FJA Products Universal Typewriter Ribbon - Twin-Spool Black 1/2 Inch Ribbon on 2-Inch Spool by Chris Graves

I am proud to support and buy from US/Veterinary companies. A big plus in my book! What really hurts is that there is no darning ink on this ribbon. I had a dry tape nearly 10 years ago that left more marks than this "fresh" roll. When I opened the package and saw stains all over the plastic bag I thought I was lucky. Unfortunately, even after installing the coils, my fingertips were darker when working with pencil leads. Which isn't a good sign. I posted a photo of the poorly performing tape I received and now I'm struggling to locate the tape just in time for the holidays. Lots of maps to print but no ink to apply lol. Maybe I should have looked more closely at similar reviews with the same problems. It is possible that inventory is out of date or storage conditions are unfavorable for this product. Anyway, shame on me.
